Lady #1: I would like to thank you, I’m Peggy Mary Bell, this is Pam Berklish from the charity that all of you contributed to, Haven.
Lady #2: If you can hear me, Haven is an organization that works with people that have been physically and sexually abused. We work with children and adults who have been suffering from abuse within their lives and what we try to do is prevent the abuse. Our goal, like their goal, is to end violence in the lives of people. (long cheer) Today Billy, D’arcy and James came out to see our program, we - they came out to visit our shelter. We have a shelter for battered women and their children and while they were there, the children of Haven painted this picture.
D’arcy: That looks like you, Billy, doesn’t it? I think that’s me.
Lady #2: They have seen the new video and from the video, they drew what they saw. So on behalf of all the children who have been abused, the children of Haven, we want to thank all three of you for the wonderful opportunity.
D’arcy: No, thank you.
BC: Okay. The Smashing Pumpkins are proud to present Haven with a check for one hundred thousand dollars.
