Corgan: Thanks a lot, hi. It's very nice to be back here with you. You know we were supposed to come here on Lollapalooza, but they canceled it, but that our fault. I mean really what is Lollapalooza anyway? It's not an alternative festival anymore is it really?
Iha: I don't know. How's your finger doin? Billy cut his finger today.
Corgan: So uh, we send this song out to you out there, way up there. James, you know what Today is?
Iha: It's the greatest day!
Today
Thru the Eyes of Ruby
Corgan: Thank you.
Thirty-three
[tape flip]
Corgan: ...not too well in tune...sorry, anyway. Like to send this song out to the Utah Jazz and their quest for a championship. This is the year it all is gonna come together.
Disarm
Corgan: Little late, Dennis.
Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Fuck You
Porcelina of the Vast Oceans / Beautiful

[encore break]
Iha: Thanks. Ladies and gentlemen, to the stage...Jimmy Frog. All the way from Milwaukee, his brother on the keyboards, Dennis Frog, yes from Milwaukee, Milwaukee's best.
Wretzky: This, this is a song you can dance to. I wanna dedicate this song to those three dancing people up there, they're all by themselves...(unintelligible)...dancing people.
Iha: We encourage you....get funky on this next song.
Wretzky: Could we get a spotlight over there? A spotlight.
Corgan: I think you should stand on the other one...
Wretzky: Oh yeah, go over there.
Corgan: No you!
Wretzky: I can't do that, I gotta sing...
Corgan: Put the mic stand up there.
Wretzky: OK...
Iha: We put everything into our show, if spectacle is what you want, we give you spectacle!
Wretzky: Oh god, I'm afraid of heights so I hope you appreciate this.
Iha: This is uh, quite a spectacle. Yes, the lighting is appropriate on this song.
Corgan: Anyway, we'd like to dedicate this song to all the wonderful people we met today at the mall...not that malls are any indication, but I have to say it was a nice mall, the people we met in the mall were nice people. And now, let us begin.
1979
Iha: Alright, how are we gonna top that? But now, instead of dancing we will just simply rock.
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (tease)
X.Y.U.

[encore break]
Corgan: Thank you very much. We really appreciate your love and support, we had an interesting year, thank you so much for still being here for us and supporting us so much.
Iha: You rock!
Mayonaise
Corgan: God bless you, god bless you, thank you.
[encore break]
Corgan: Can we have lights please? Alright, check it out, all you people, all you people up there? You totally rule 'cause you stuck it out to the end. See all these people streaming back in because they thought the show was over?
Iha: We see your sign about the drummer, but we got one...you see that sign?
Corgan: You play drums? Let this guy come up here, come on up. Get this man up here, this man right here in the green shirt. Come on up. Come on up, join the melee! Now, now...he represent most of Salt Lake City? This young man? This is Ian, he's a member of your community. Now, he's been holding up a sign the whole show, "I play drums", there it is right there. Now we will see if he can actually play drums, we will give him the Pumpkin vote, go ahead...he wants to play Soma.
Iha: Now just remember, it's been a while since we played this song, so we don't really know the song though.
Corgan: You know what, I don't really wanna play Soma. Drum solo! Ian, take it!
drum solo
Soma (abandoned)
Corgan: You know what? I hate to tell you this Ian, not only do I not like the drums, I don't like drummers and you're fired. Get off my stage...we're in a drum-firing mood, I'm sorry!
Iha: We now will play the rest of the set with no more drums, just imagine the rhythm in your mind.
Corgan: How about a round of nice applause for Ian, for being a good sport.
Iha: (unintelligible)...the best drummer in town, we seek them out...thank you.
Corgan: See, what Ian doesn't know is we've only played with two drummers, one was Jimmy, Matt is the second drummer we've ever played with. What Ian doesn't know is both of em had to have surgical bionic implants in their shoulders...
Iha: Yes, that is true.
Corgan: And only because they were willing to go through this painful operation can they do the songs.
Iha: These people also had to have plastic surgery done to their faces of what we thought a drummer might look like, as painful as it sounds, these people now have launched into the one of the hugest careers in music ever! I'm just kidding!
Bodies
Silverfuck / Space Jam (tease)
Farewell and Goodnight

Corgan: Thank you, god bless you.
Wretzky: Good night...no really, we mean it.
Iha: Good night everybody, bye. Thanks, thanks a lot.
Corgan: Goodbye.
