For those of you in the know, I’ll play one more song and I’ll take a 20 minute break and then I’ll come back and play some songs that were written before you were born and then.... And then...I try not to talk anymore 'cause we know where that goes. I let the music do the talking like Joe Perry said. For like 30 years, I heard like, just shut up and play and I was like kinda like “You know what? Shut up and play, yeah.” Uh, heh heh. So last little bit of information, I wrote a lot of these songs from Ogilala traveling down Route 66 and we’re actually on Route 66, so Jack Kerouac called it the mother road and this was the destination, L.A. was the dream, it was the dream for me as a kid, so it’s always an honor to play in Los Angeles. Of course, you know, the only problem with that whole concept is I thought everyone was like Erik Estrada. Sort of beautiful tan, mocha, just in the sun, you know, (inhales). Lady in crowd: Nope.
