Iha: You guys are awesome. We were thinking this was a really strange show, then I remembered we're in New Jersey. Thank you for your nice selves...(unintelligible)...is everybody ok? Is everybody having a reasonably good concert? The silence is freaking me out.
Corgan: Can you on the lights for a second there Sam?
Iha: Wow, New Jersey. What do you think of these fine splendid people out here? I said, what do you think of these fine, splendid New Jerseyans. Now listen...give us a song!

Corgan: You know, we've been coming to this area for about six years now, I think we've played this part of the country over 25 times. And when we first started playing here everybody said, they would say, how come the audiences don't get in the music? They'd say ah, that's just the way they are. And I'd say ah, that doesn't make any sense. And we'd come back again and there'd be like no reaction and we'd say, did we play bad? No, you played great, that's just the way the audiences are. And I tell you what, I don't believe that for a fucking minute.
