Banter

Wretzky: Hello.
Iha: Hello.
Cherub Rock
Corgan: Good evening! We are from Chicago! Welcome to the rock show!
Rocket
Disarm
Today
Corgan: It might occur, to people throwing shoes on stage, that when they actually hit us it actually hurts us...so, I (unintelligible) a lot of people throwing shoes, but everyone who sees people throw shoes please hit them in the head for me...the people who throw shoes at us, we don't want--we don't want your advances, if thats the way you're gonna give them. But uh...to the rest of you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
I Am One

Corgan (stopping mid-rant): Alright, I'm gonna tell you right now, if people keep throwin' shit on stage, we're gonna stop the show 'cause this is fuckin' crazy. I'm not gonna watch D'arcy or James or Jimmy get hurt because somebody wants to be an asshole, so you wanna stop the show by throwin' shit, go ahead, you be the one. I realize that theres a lot of people here just enjoying the show, but its not worth hurting ourselves for. For every person who throws something theres ten people that watch them do it, so who's to blame? An asshole can't help but be an asshole, and its definitely a man throwin' shit, I'll tell you that. Women aren't so stupid. This is the last show of our tour. Usually on the last show of our tour, we play a really long time, but uh...'cause it means something to us, it's been a long tour, and we just wanna have a good time, so I ask you again, please don't throw shit on stage, that all I ask. I don't care if you don't like it, you can boo, you hate us, just don't throw shit, thats all. And now back to the show.

I Am One finishes
Corgan: Now James knows the joke sucks, the shows not going well.
Iha: Which one, its the human beatbox or its the...there's uh, the one thats (unintelligible)...we're very fond of this.
Wretzky: (unintelligible).
Iha: (unintelligible) camel ride...the camel, it sits, and you pay it ten dollars for it. Now, the next selection is a fine song, coming all the way from the city of Grunge, from Seattle, its from a movie, I hope you like it.
Drown/Hummer
Geek U.S.A.
Silverfuck/Over the Rainbow/Jackboot

(encore break)
Corgan: Thank you very much, I realize--I realize theres a lot of people who have not thrown shoes, have not given me the finger, have not told me to fuck off. I'd love to say thank you for those people. Sometimes, sometimes when you play a lot of shows you tend to get focused on the negative things as opposed to the positive things so, I'm sorry but, I'm being mean, and working things, we hope you understand. Come on! Come on! Come on! Whoa.
Mayonaise
Iha: Thank you, give him a hand, Jimmy Frog, from The Frogs.
Flemion: Good night everyone, thanks.
(encore break)
Iha: (unintelligible)
Corgan: I would just like to say...some of you tonight (unintelligible)
Iha: Fuckin' Butch Vig in the fuckin' house, let's see your fuckin' hands up here, hey ho!
Corgan: Lets give a round to mister Butch Vig.
Iha: I can't hear you fucking people, Butch Vig!
Corgan: If you see him, he owes us some money. Ok, if you see him, he owes some money, thats why we wanna see him.
Iha: He owes us a canadian too.
Corgan: You can't understand, this nasty song.
Iha: (unintelligible), down the road, here we go.
Corgan: We'd like to play you a song off our first album. These days most people don't seem to know that we have a first album, we do have a first album. Its called "Bleach", its on Sub Pop, we hope you pick it up.
Siva
Starla

(encore break)
Corgan: (unintelligible)...what do you wanna hear? Alright, we're gonna do another oldie. This is a song you might know.

Corgan: What should we play now? Wait...mister!
Iha: (unintelligible)
