Corgan: Hi. Good evening. Nice to be back again, thank you very much for coming to the concert. So um, did everyone vote? We didn't, so we can't say much about it.
Iha: We were too busy being a rock band, so...
Corgan: That's nice.
Iha: It was sarcastic. It was sardonic and ironic, but uh...

Corgan: So what's up? What's going on out there? Are you mystified by our eccentric ways? Wow, scary. What's going on with you people way up there?
Iha: (unintelligible)...what will the election to do rock and roll?
Corgan: We'd like to play uh, and evil selection, from our double CD, called evil to eviler. We like to call this song X.Y.U.
X.Y.U.
[encore break]
Iha: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much. Ladies and gentlemen, we are graced with a special guest tonight. From the fine city of Milwaukee, of the Frogs, Jimmy Frog! A few words for the Boston crowd, Jimmy. Just a few words, two.
Jimmy Frog: Let's rock, Boston.
Iha: On the keyboards, ladies and gentlemen of the Frogs, his brother, Dennis Frog! Yes, Dennis Frog! (unintelligible)...alright, and now to the man behind the drum kit, all the way from Wilmette, Matt Cosmo Walker! Oh my god, crazy.
Corgan: Alright, it's now come to that point in the show where we invite people on-stage to dance with us. Now, this has become a tradition, almost every night we do that, that we play.
Iha: Just like Tijuana.
Corgan: But I think tonight...
Iha: Tonight?
Corgan: There will be no dancers.
Iha: These people are shocked.
Corgan: Dancing with us a privelege, not a right.
Iha: The people seem reticent.
Corgan: I wanna know what the fuck's up out there. This is about the twenty-fifth time that we have played in Boston, twenty-fifth I believe, and every time, it gets more and more quiet, and I find this very suspicious, you can boo me if you want, you can cheer along if you want. Now, you tell me should we have people come up on stage? Jimmy? We shall let Jimmy make the decision, Jimmy, shall there be dancing tonight?
Jimmy: Sure, yeah. Let's do it, Boston.
improv
Corgan: Jimmy shall choose the dancers, Jimmy, choose away.
Iha: Put your hands up so Jimmy can pick you! Jimmy, choose!
Corgan: Jimmy, let's get some dancers.
Iha: Come on people, jump for joy, oh my god. Who shall dance, we obviously have a psychopath on stage. Oh yeah, come on, let's turn up the beat people, let's get enthusiastic for Jimmy Frog to pick you dancers. Come on! Show some enthusiasm you fucking people, come on! I don't care who you are, but this is a fucking rock concert! Do something!
Corgan: One more Jimmy, one more.
Iha: One more time!
Corgan: One more Jimmy, pick one more, who shall it be? Alright, let's get to know our dancers, please come over here. Dancers, peoples, hello, hi. Please tell us who you are and where you're from.
Fan #1: I'm Jennifer, I'm from Boston University.
Corgan: Boston University, wait, where are you really from?
Fan #1: California
Iha: Boo! California.
Corgan: Don't worry, it will fall into the sea sooner or later. Tell us who you are and where you're from.
Fan #2: (trails off unintelligibly)
Iha: What?
Corgan: Let's go to our other dancer, tell us who you are and where you're from.
Fan #3: My name's Lou Greenwald and I'm from Dan's Beantown Diner.
Iha: Hey, this is not an ad.
Corgan: Tell us who you are and where you're from.
Fan #4: From Brookyln New York!
Iha: I'm shocked myself, ladies and gentlemen.
Corgan: Now, we have two rules for our dancers, dancers please listen up carefully. If you do not follow the rules, I will hit you with my guitar. Please, when dancing, don't touch us and don't touch our shit. Alright, now. Everyone please dance along.
Iha: And let's rock!
Corgan: No no no, dance along in your mind.
Iha: Oh, yes.
1979
Corgan: Thank you dancers. Thanks a lot for a wonderful concert, thank you very much, goodnight.
