Tape Trees

Tape Trees are a terrific way to distribute high-quality live and rare material rapidly and with minimal risk. Here are the basics steps involved in a tape tree: A high-quality tape is offered as a seed, the tree is announced followed by a signup period, people are assigned as branches and leaves by the tape tree administrator, blank tapes are exchanged, copies made and returned. A tape tree eliminates much of the guess work involved in trading and guarantees you quality just about as good as you'll find anywhere.

The SPLRA strongly encourages tape trees and has and will run them frequently. All tape trees will be announced in three ways: on this web site, on the alt.music.smash-pumpkins Usenet newsgroup, and on the Listessa mailing list.
