Admission to the parking lot was controlled using green and pink numbered wristbands. The first 100 people to the parking lot were given an additional yellow wristband in anticipation of having to relocate the concert inside. However, these were not the people chosen to go inside. The first set was relocated inside the MuchMusic building due to rain and wind and was plauged with technical problems. A 45 minute interview followed. The topic matter included guitars and how the band develops their music. Billy remarked that the band played poorly during the first set. Conditions improved and the second set was back outside. Bullet with Butterfly Wings was sung with a "The world is a vampire/sent to rain" line, in response to the weather. With five minutes to go and MuchMusic unaware of circumstances, the Pumpkins launched into Transmission and the show went overtime. Thanks to Mark Swierszcz, Tom, Frank Sauve, and Justin Divecha for the information!
