Banter

Iha: Are you still awake?
Wretzky: Hello.
Tonight, Tonight
Zero
Fuck You

Iha: We would like to thank the Naked Man. All right.
Wretzky: Now that's show biz, folks.
Iha: Uh...
Wretzky: Doesn't get any more exciting than that.
Iha: The Naked Man is a genius to show himself. A free man, free of clothes. We salute you, Naked Man.
Today
Corgan: Thank You.
To Forgive
Bullet with Butterfly Wings

Iha: Danke.
Corgan: Hi. We are The Smashing Pumpkins.
Iha: And how are you?
Corgan: It's very nice to be in your country again. It looks a lot like Illinois, which is where we're from, so... it's almost like we're at home. Almost.
Iha: That's right.
Thru the Eyes of Ruby
Porcelina of the Vast Oceans

Wretzky: Thank you.
Iha: What? What was that? (Laughs). We do not light the lights. Um, thanks. Why's everybody all so quiet?
Disarm
Iha: Thanks. Is everyone having fun? Reasonably fun, I hope?
Muzzle
Cherub Rock

Corgan: Thank you, you guys are great.
Wretzky: --- gut nacht.
Iha: ---, you've been very kind.
(encore break)
Iha: Thanks. I'm glad you guys are still here, 'cause we're very tired. I know you should be more tired than we are.
Corgan: Thanks for staying to see us.
Iha: We'd again like to thank the Naked Man for making an appearance. He's part of our crew; we pay him handsomely to appear. All right, groovy! Here's another song.
1979
Corgan: Thank you so much. We'd like to play one more song for you. We're just beginning our tour of Germany, so uh, for those of you in TV land, we'll see you soon.
Iha: Where we appear on our new sitcom, Smashing Pumpkins and their Crazy Apartment. We'd like to thank the Dancing Man.
Corgan: That's the Naked Man's cousin, Heinz.
Iha: He's another great friend of ours and we bring him on every tour we can. He follows the --- man...
Wretzky: Give him a good hand, we paid him a lot of money.
Corgan: Yeah, but the insurance when those big wrestler guys tackle him - that's tough.
Iha: That's part of the act as well. Don't worry, he's not hurt, he's just - that's part of the show.
Corgan: How's it go, uh, Deutschland? Deutschland? Yeah? What happened to Rudy the Striker on the World Cup team, that's what I want to know.
Iha: (During BC's Rudy speech) Oh. Oh. (etc.)
Corgan: Rudy? I saw Rudy in Chicago, he was no good, he - he couldn't kick anymore. I was at the World Cup. Rudy, he couldn't - I saw him, I'm sorry.
Iha: Well, we'll just play another song.
Wretzky: We don't know this man.
Corgan: He has an afro. He's Rudy. Right? All right. I'm not crazy. We dedicate this song to Rudy the Striker.
