Welcome to the SPLRA Wiki.

This currently is the way we will build up data for the future release of the site.
 
Please behave yourself and add only correct and validated information.
We've been cataloging, surfacing, and preserving SP live performances since 1997. This includes digitizing and distributing new sources from various tape formats. If you have a Smashing Pumpkins, BC, or Zwan concert that you'd like more info on, have new info for this archive, or you'd like a professional transfer of a recording you made, please reach out to us at [mailto:contact@splra.org contact@splra.org].

Some info on recordings:
 
A recording missing music is counted as <b>incomplete</b>.
 
A recording not missing music, perhaps only missing banter or an encore break is counted as <b>complete</b>.
 
Audio recordings not transferred to CDR or online do <b>not</b> count as surfaced.
 
Video recordings which have not been transferred to DVD or online also do <b>not</b> count as surfaced.
 
Video recordings which have a circulating audio transfer will remain listed as <b>unsurfaced</b>, but with a note listing the audio transfer and its lowest circulating generation.
 
Place names should be listed by their English equivalent when applicable (eg. Moskva becomes Moscow, München becomes Munich, etc). This is because the majority of visitors will not be from said country. Please note that this only applies to geographical locations, <b>not venues</b>.

However when writing in the actual article for the show, please tell the venue.
Look through some of the pages we have already written for formatting ideas, please keep it as neat as possible and be detailed.
Look at the ones by quandar, the ones by Syco54645 are not complete and need work, so feel free to work on them.
All of the pages for shows of tsp and zwan were added by an automated script that I (Syco54645) have developed.  They all need checked over!  Please add that you have checked them and a note that they have been checked to the [http://www.splra.org/wiki/index.php?title=CheckedPages checked pages] page (just follow the format that is already in effect)<br/><br/>

Well not really urgent, but i am out of commission for a bit till i can get a new drive, or someone can sell me one for cheap (a 20 gig will do, i can scrape by on a 10).  until then all of the tapes that dave gave me will have to wait.  i went to install ubuntu on a 20 gig drive today and the drive died when i was partitioning it, so it looks like my only hope is to buy a new drive (preferably one for cheap from a friend :))<br/ >
